Yes, you will still need a patch test even if you have had the same treatment done elsewhere. Not all salons use the same products, therefore a patch test is required 24-48 hours before your treatment and is for your health and safety. Patch tests are required for tint, LVL lash lift and brow lamination treatments. They are completely free and and bookable via:

Deposits and cancellation policies are in place to protect myself and my business. I take a 50% deposit to secure your appointment on my booking system. You can cancel and move your appointment at any time up until 48 hours before your appointment is due. However, any last minute cancellations after the 48 hour cancellation policy will result in you losing your deposit. Any no shows will also result in the loss of your deposit. Thank you for your understanding.


I use Square to take my payments for treatments/products. Square accepts Visa, Visa Pay, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple pay and Google pay. I don't accept cash for services but I accept cash tips. Alternatively, you have the option to add a digital tip when paying for your service.

Yes I am NVQ level 2 and level 3 qualified in beauty therapy. My certificates are on display in my treatment room. In addition, I have public liability insurance that I renew yearly. I follow all treatment procedures correctly & take your well-being and safety very seriously.


All gift vouchers are monetary and last a year from the date of purchase. Gift vouchers can be in a physical form or a e-gift voucher emailed to the recipient. E-gift vouchers can be purchased via:

I do not allow children into the treatment room with you unless you are both having a treatment or if you are accompanying your child to their own appointment (which is required if they are under 18). Anyone wishing to be treated under the age of 18 will also need to obtain signed parental permission on a form I will provide. I have this policy in place to ensure children are not in harms way but also that you and the Contemporary hair clients aren’t disturbed. Thank you for your understanding.

As many of you know, parking in Yarm can get very busy! Please set off with plenty of time to not only get into Yarm, but to find a parking spot and pay at the machines. It is currently £1.50 for parking on the high street for 3 hours. Alternatively, there are nearby long stay car parks available.

To maintain the restful atmosphere in the treatment room, I ask that you please switch off/put on silent any mobile phones, tablets and similar devices. Thank you for your understanding.


Running late happens, I understand! However, arriving late to your appointment will result in your treatment being cut down or it will have to be completely rearranged for another date. If you're over 15 minutes late, then your appointment can't go ahead. Late arrivals can knock my column for the day resulting in myself being late for other clients so please arrive for your treatment in good timing.


I might be able to offer treatments to under 18's depending on my insurance policy and also the treatment you wish to have. Anyone wishing to be treated under the age of 18 will need to obtain signed parental permission on a form I will provide. Parents must also accompany you to the appointment for health and safety.


If you are pregnant, you have to wait until you're out of your first trimester in order to have certain treatments. This is to protect not only yourself but also myself and my business so please inform me if you are pregnant right away to discuss treatment options.


Yes, consultation forms are a must for insurance purposes but also for your health and safety. They provide not only your consent for the treatment but they also provide a documented record of your needs and preferences. Furthermore, they help prevent misunderstandings and track treatment progress. Some forms will be e-mailed to you to pre-fill before your appointment so when you arrive we can get started immediately. Patch test forms will be filled out in person once the test has been completed.


If I have a slot available on the day/time you walk-in, of course I'll take you! Please be aware that I will have to set up for your treatment which could take a couple of minutes. However if I don't have a slot, I will do my absolute best to accommodate you when I am next available.
